Your hosts Teina & Gail Marsters will help you organize your tours and exploring of these fun filled Pacific Islands Paradise.
The fringing reef this side of the island is less than 100 metres from the beach and is the ideal spot for spotting whales which come to the reefs edge between July and October. The beach itself is mostly sandy and extends in both directions but our lagoon is not suitable for swimming - however, at low tide, the lagoon is shallow enough for reef walking. Bring an old pair of shoes and you'll spot plenty of starfish, coral heads and small reef fish in the laoon.
About our Property
Paradise Motels is in an ideal location in the Cook Islands offering 16 fully serviced self-contained units. We are ideally located a few minutes walk from the centre of Avarua Town yet in a secluded location alongside a sandy beach with stunning mountains as a backdrop.
Facilities
We have a large community lounge with a self-service bar, wifi, dining tables and seating. Above the lounge on the mezzanine floor is a lounge for reading and relaxing with an exchange book case and board games.
The main lounge leads out to a raised terrace with outdoor furniture and barbecue looking out over the beach and lagoon.

The Room Facilities
Our units are self contained each with a small kitchenette, fridge, two burner gas cooker and cooking utensils. Each room has its own shower and toilet and can sleep a maximum of three people. We also have one family unit comprised of two double rooms with ensuite and connecting door,. The family unit has a private balcony facing the mountains, sleeps four to six people - sorry, children under the age of 12 are not permitted to ensure a peaceful ambience. However we do occasionally make exceptions so please ask.

Location / Distances
Several excellent restaurants are a few minutes' stroll away and the shops, bars and cafes of Avarua are only five minutes walk. There is a small grocery shop on the corner of our property . The Museum, National Library and National Cultural Centre is a 1 - 2 minute walk across the road.
Directions to Property
The Paradise Motels are located on the main road of Rarotonga just 600 metres east of Avarua town. We are on the beach side of the road.
